About Team 1731

We believe that knowledge and curiosity paired with an unsolved problem can excite
and motivate students to redefine their view of the world and consider the positive
impact they can make on the lives of others.

We do this by hands-on application of computer programming, mechanical design,
engineering, assembly, and learning the interactions between components and
subsystems to work together to solve a problem. We employ strategy, feature
design, trade-off analysis, and goal setting. We work hard, we fail, we get
discouraged, we iterate, we learn, we become thrilled beyond all measure, and we
always have fun.

We build robots. Would you like to join us?

We are a community-based team open to all high school students in Warrenton, VA
and surrounding areas.
