2006 Season
Team 1731, Fresta Valley Robotics was founded in the fall of 2005 to compete in the 2006 FIRST robotics season. The team was founded by our lead mentor, Brent Leppke and his family. In the team’s rookie year they had 6 students and 6 mentors and the robot was named the Musketeer.
The team competed at the NASA VCU Richmond, Virginia regional where they placed first out of 64 teams in the qualification rounds, earning them the highest rookie seed award. They then went on to the semi-final rounds where, unfortunately, they were eliminated.
